Job summary

The George Sportsmen's Lounge in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a Security Host dedicated to delivering friendly, professional service while maintaining a safe, enjoyable atmosphere for guests and staff. You will enforce dress code, check IDs, manage crowd flow, report incidents to Security Director and GM, and engage guests using verbal judo to defuse conflicts.

A valid Alcohol Awareness Card and LVMPD Sheriff’s Card are required; fluent English is essential; previous security-host experience

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Previous experience as Security or Security Host preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Able to initiate and engage guests in conversation in a professional manner.
• Must possess a valid Alcohol Awareness Card (TAM, ACT, or other qualifying card).
• Must possess a valid Sheriff’s Card issued by the LVMPD Fingerprint Bureau.
• Must be able to reach, stoop, bend, lift, and clean during various activities throughout shift.
• Must be able to communicate fluently in English.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior levels of customer service to all guests.
• Maintain a safe atmosphere for all guests and team members.
• Apply verbal judo concepts in communication with irate or intoxicated guests.
• Report all safety or security incidents to Security Director and General Manager (and Bar Manager on duty at time of incident).
• Escort guests from the premises based at management’s discretion.
• Actively market social media and FINE Entertainment app.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment, following all guidelines established by the Southern Nevada Health District and Building and Fire guidelines.
• Enforce FINE Entertainment guest standards of conduct including dress code.
• Protect FINE Entertainment property by maintaining crowd activity and traffic flow.
