Job summary

Fifth Third Bank, National Association seeks an operations professional in Securities Services to support settlements, mutual fund settlements, outside trade support, or corporate actions. You will engage in trade support, clearance, settlement, investigations, and confirmations under supervision to manage risk and deliver superior customer experience.

The role requires 2–3 years in securities operations, strong communication, and solid Excel/Office skills.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 2–3 years of operations experience in securities clearance industry.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for internal/external clients.
• Strong mathematical and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Handles processing tasks of higher risk including high-dollar transactions.
• Verifies trade settlement information at depository and in proprietary systems.
• Executes new trades/instructions in various markets as needed.
• Processes cash movements accurately and on time per deadlines.
• Reconciles cash and security positions daily with counterparties.
• Resolves questions from internal/external parties and communicates resolutions promptly.
