Job summary

Edgewater Federal Solutions is seeking an Audio/Visual technician with a background in Information technology and audio/video systems to support a major national laboratory. The AV team designs, installs, maintains, and supports enterprise video collaboration and conference rooms across secure and unclassified environments.

The role involves setting up videoconferences, supporting live events in auditoriums, and providing training and on-site support for Cisco/Polycom systems and Microsoft Teams

Qualifications

• High School Degree plus minimum 1 year of related experience.
• Active DOE Security Clearance required.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• End user support and setup of Videoconferences and Videoconference equipment
• Unclassified and Classified Videoconference event scheduling and coordination support
• Secure Videoconference bridge and meeting setup support within the DOE/NNSA Enterprise Secure Network and DoD Secure Network Environments.
• Videoconference and Microsoft Teams system training support
• Videoconference and AV Systems installation, support and maintenance
• Set up and breakdown for video streaming events
• Operate production equipment in large auditorium environments (camera, mic, mixer)
• Direct interaction with customers during live streaming and large meetings
• Work with team members with minimal supervision
