Cascadia Health operates secure residential homes in the Portland metro area, focusing on adults with severe mental health challenges. The Mental Health Aide II role supports daily living, therapy, and safety within a multidisciplinary team to promote recovery and well-being.

Employees work three shifts in a 24/7 window, with compensation and benefits designed to support professional development and stability in a secure environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an approved behavioral science field or three years of mental health work experience.
• Certification must be current and in compliance with MHACBO.
• QMHA credentialing required for Mental Health Aide II.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor treatment plans as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Promote resident-centered, strengths-based approaches.
• Provide individual and group therapeutic interventions as directed.
• Supervise residents in daily living activities and community integration.
• Administer medications per provider orders using MAR.
• Maintain clinical records in an EHR system in compliance with regulations.
