The role emphasizes collaboration, secure coding, and performance optimization in Linux environments, with strong Java development and a focus on building robust, high‑assurance systems.

Qualifications

• Must have active Top Secret/SCI clearance with NSA Full Scope Polygraph.
• 7+ years of software engineer experience in similar scope.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline; 4 additional years of relevant experience may substitute for the degree.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain secure software applications for mission-critical systems.
• Implement secure software engineering techniques per reference architectures and standards.
• Perform security testing and participate in code reviews to improve security and quality.
• Debug and enhance existing software to improve functionality, performance, and security.
• Develop RESTful APIs and enterprise services for distributed architectures.
• Collaborate with software, systems, cybersecurity, and mission stakeholders to deliver secure solutions.
• Document software designs, interfaces, and implementation artifacts.
• Adopt new technologies and best practices; participate in Agile and DevSecOps activities.
