Job summary

ZP group seeks an experienced Data Center Engineer to build, support, and maintain secure computing environments used for operational missions in RTP, NC.

This contract-to-hire role requires active Top Secret/SCI clearance with Counter-Intelligence Polygraph and hands-on experience with Windows, Linux/Unix, VMWare vSphere, and enterprise networking.

You will configure, deploy, and secure networks, support SSP/PO&A M artifacts, and work with cross-functional teams to ensure RMF compliance.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with Counter‑Intelligence Polygraph is required.
• Hands‑on experience with Windows, Linux, and Unix environments.
• Experience administering VMWare vSphere virtualization environments.
• Experience with enterprise networking including routers, switches, and firewalls.

Responsibilities

• Building, supporting, and maintaining secure computing environments used in operational settings.
• Deploying and administering systems across Windows, Linux, and Unix.
• Supporting virtualization infrastructure using VMWare vSphere.
• Securing systems to meet NISPOM, ICD, and DIACAP requirements.
• Assisting in SSP/PO&M documentation and RMF processes.
• Configuring, deploying, and troubleshooting network functions in a classified environment.
• Performing routine network administration including routers, switches, firewalls.
