Job summary

DC Army National Guard seeks a Radio and Communications Security Repairer to maintain secure communications equipment and systems for units. You will install, repair, calibrate, and align circuits, wiring, and components to ensure secure channels.

You will also perform tests, maintenance, and documentation, with opportunities to train others and handle complex repairs using NSA-approved components. Earn while you learn through paid training and tuition support.

Qualifications

• Enlistment in the Army National Guard is required.
• Must be between 17 and 35 years old.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Able to pass a physical exam and meet standards.
• Citizenship requirements per NATIONALGUARD.com.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair circuits and wiring; calibrate and align equipment.
• String overhead cables between utility poles; repair systems.
• Test equipment and perform preventive maintenance checks and services.
• Train and supervise other Soldiers on advanced tasks; ensure NSA-approved components are used.
