Job summary

Crypticvector is seeking a sharp, hands-on System Administrator to support mission-critical applications for classified programs at Fort Meade. In this role, you will maintain high-stakes systems, manage AWS and Kubernetes environments, and support high-side networks securely.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience in Docker-based applications and a strong grasp of both Linux and Windows administration. Benefits include 100% company-paid health insurance, generous PTO, and flexible work hours.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience managing Docker‑based applications and containerised environments in production.
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services like EC2, EKS, RDS, and S3.
• Strong Linux and Windows administration skills required.
• Current active TS clearance essential.
• Experience with high‑side classified networks is necessary.
• Familiarity with PKI and SSH best practices is a must.
• Security+ certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and support AWS and Kubernetes applications for classified programs.
• Manage Docker services across production AWS and Kubernetes clusters.
• Perform application scaling, patching, and monitoring.
• Manage cloud infrastructure to support mission applications.
• Ensure compliance monitoring for security requirements.
• Support networks in secure classified environments.
• Collaborate with users for solutions.
• Stay updated with cloud-native technologies for performance improvements.
