Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton seeks a Secure Cloud Architect to design secure, scalable AWS environments for mission-critical data and AI-enabled systems in Annapolis, MD. You will govern end-to-end cloud foundations, including VPC topology, identity protections, encryption, and API security, while aligning with security, compliance, and operational readiness standards.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and governing end-to-end AWS architectures across VPCs, subnets, routing, and secure connectivity.
• Proven ability to define cloud strategies for multi-environment deployments (dev, stage, prod).
• Experience designing identity and access protections with IAM least privilege architectures and policy governance.
• Experience evaluating security risks of service integrations (Bedrock, OpenSearch, Lambda, ECS/EKS).
• Experience producing architecture decision records guiding teams through tradeoffs and security controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture decision records and resolve cross-team technical tradeoffs.
• Partner with security, data, and DevOps teams to ensure secure, scalable deployments.
• Define and govern security controls, encryption standards, and data access policies for Bedrock and OpenSearch.
• Drive implementation readiness across development, staging, and production environments.
