Job summary

North Point Technology in Washington, DC is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Architect to design and automate cloud infrastructure across AWS GovCloud and ADC isolated regions, building Infrastructure as Code and secure networking for classified enclaves.

The ideal candidate has hands-on AWS and DevOps experience with automation for hardening and compliance in a DoD/IC environment and holds an active TS/SCI clearance.

Qualifications

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code in AWS GovCloud or isolated regions (ADC/GovCloud).
• CI/CD pipelines in air-gapped environments with approval gates and change management."
• Knowledge of multi-account landing zones, Transit Gateway, and hybrid connectivity in classified enclaves.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement IaC within ADC and GovCloud isolated regions.
• Build CI/CD pipelines in air-gapped environments with approval gates and change management.
• Design the network architecture—multi-account landing zones, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, VPN in classified enclaves.
• Automate patching, AMI hardening, drift detection, and STIG/CIS compliance enforcement.
• Implement observability and logging strategies that meet audit and records retention requirements.
