Job summary

Avalore, LLC in Arlington, VA is seeking a Cybersecurity Architect to embed security across the War Data Platform. You will design a defense-in-depth security architecture and own the IAM framework, network zoning, data encryption, and logging/monitoring.

Collaborate with Platform, Data, and Solutions Architects to ensure the WDP is secure-by-design, not an afterthought. SECRET clearance required; multiple levels (Junior/Journeyman/Senior) with Bachelor's degree and US work authorization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree is required.
• SECRET security clearance required.
• Excellent communication and self-starting mindset.
• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Design defense-in-depth security architecture for the War Data Platform.
• Own IAM framework, network security zoning, and data encryption strategy.
• Translate RMF, STIGs, and SOC 1 controls into architectural patterns.
• Collaborate with Platform, Data, and Solutions Architects to ensure secure-by-design.
