Job summary

Point Three Group is seeking a Sector Data Analyst for a $20b systematic hedge fund to uncover insights from fundamental data, alternative datasets, and unstructured information in healthcare, energy, or industrial sectors. You will augment fundamental analysts and help drive investment decisions with quantitative researchers and portfolio managers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM or related field.
• 3+ years in data science or sector analytics in finance.
• Experience with large unstructured datasets.
• Proficiency in Python or R.
• SQL, Spark, Pandas, or similar data-analysis tools.
• Strong math and statistics skills.

Responsibilities

• Generate insights and trends from alternative datasets.
• Project KPIs for healthcare, energy, or industrial stocks.
