Job summary

Atlantic Health's Goryeb Children's Hospital seeks a seasoned pediatric surgeon to serve as Section Chief, Pediatric Surgery. You will lead clinical care across thoracic, neonatal, oncologic and emergency pediatric surgeries at Morristown and Overlook Medical Centers.

The role requires board certification in pediatric surgery, NJ license eligibility, and at least a decade of leadership and surgical experience in pediatrics.

Qualifications

• Board-certified pediatric surgeon required.
• Licensed or eligible to practice in New Jersey.
• Minimum 10 years of demonstrated success in related roles.
• Experience in thoracic and/or oncologic pediatric surgery preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead as Section Chief, Pediatric Surgery at Atlantic Health Goryeb Children's Hospital.
• Oversee pediatric surgical services including neonatal, thoracic and oncologic cases.
• Collaborate with training programs and academic partners for resident education.
• Coordinate transfers from regional hospitals and ensure high-quality patient care.
