Qualifications

• MD or DO licensed to practice in the U.S.
• ABR or AOBR board-certified radiologist with fellowship in Abdominal or Body Imaging.
• 5+ years of post-training clinical experience in high-volume abdominal and body imaging.
• Unrestricted active license in at least one U.S. state, willingness to obtain additional licenses.

Responsibilities

• Lead the abdominal/body imaging radiologist team with focus on recruitment and mentorship.
• Manage quality assurance programs and peer review for imaging protocols.
• Direct operations and partner relations for remote diagnostic programs.
• Serve as a clinical expert during client meetings and partner discussions.

Job description

For our client, we are seeking a Section Chief, Abdominal / Body Imaging to join the team of a leader in the Consumer Technology space.

This leadership role will guide a specialized radiology team focused on abdominal and body imaging services within a technology-enabled healthcare environment. The Section Chief will play a key role in recruiting and mentoring physicians, maintaining quality standards, and supporting the delivery of remote diagnostic care. This position also serves as a clinical point of contact in partner conversations while balancing hands‑on reading with broader operational and quality responsibilities.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $300,000 – $350,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Lead the abdominal/body imaging radiologist team, with a focus on recruitment and mentorship
• Manage quality assurance programs and peer review processes for imaging protocols
• Direct operations and partner relations for remote diagnostic programs
• Serve as a clinical expert during client meetings and partner discussions
• Balance clinical reading with leadership and quality initiatives

Qualifications

• MD or DO, eligible to practice medicine in the U.S.
• ABR or AOBR board-certified radiologist with fellowship training in Abdominal or Body Imaging
• 5+ years of post-training clinical experience in high-volume abdominal and body imaging
• Expertise in cross-sectional CT, pelvic MRI, and advanced abdominal MRI/ultrasound modalities
• Unrestricted active license in at least one U.S. state, with willingness to obtain additional licenses
