An employer in Boulder, CO is seeking mid- to senior-level Model-Based Systems Engineers (MBSE) to support critical U.S. Space Force programs, including missile defense and missile warning systems. This role sits at the intersection of requirements, system design, and integration/testing, supporting advanced space-domain engineering initiatives.

This is a high-impact opportunity to join a mission-focused engineering team working within a fast-paced, multi-contractor environment, leveraging both traditional systems engineering and modern digital engineering practices (MBSE, DevSecOps, Agile).

This is a permanent, full time role posted at $110,000 – $195,000/year based on skill level, skillset, and tenure. This role is on site 5 days a week at the customer facility in Boulder, CO.

• Active DoD Secret security clearance (TS/SCI preferred)
• 5+ years of systems engineering experience, with direct application of MBSE methodologies
• Hands-on experience with MBSE tools (e.g., Cameo/MagicDraw)
• Experience with requirements development, management, and traceability (e.g., DOORS)
• Experience with configuration/baseline management tools (e.g., ARAS)
• Exposure to digital engineering tools (e.g., MATLAB, STK, Ansys ModelCenter)
• Familiarity with DoD acquisition lifecycle and systems engineering reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR)
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
