Job summary

Experience Champaign Urbana is seeking detail-oriented Compliance Auditors to conduct mystery-shopping visits across designated retail locations in Illinois. You will visit stores to attempt purchases of age-restricted items, ensuring clerks request proper identification and comply with state and federal regulations.

Qualifications

• Transportation: Valid driver’s license, reliable personal vehicle, and proof of active auto insurance.
• Agreement: Must sign a standard hold-harmless agreement prior to starting.

Job description

Position Overview

We are seeking detail-oriented Compliance Auditors to conduct routine mystery-shopping visits across designated retail locations. In this role, you will visit assigned stores to attempt purchases of age-restricted items (alcohol and tobacco) to ensure store clerks are properly requesting identification and adhering to state and federal compliance laws.

Note: Actual purchases are not required. Your primary task is to test and document whether clerks request proper identification.

Requirements

Compensation & Perks

• Competitive Pay plus mileage reimbursement at $0.60 per mile.
