Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a senior network engineer to provide Tier 3 support for the design, implementation, and deployment of network technologies across the Government Customer Enterprise environment with locations worldwide.

The role covers cloud and on‑prem environments (AWS/Azure, DMVPN, LAN/WAN, 802.1x and Cisco ISE), plus SME-level work on Cisco ACI, NDO, APIC, UCS, and VMware virtualization.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of overall experience.
• Experience with Cisco NDO, Cisco APIC, and Cisco UCS.
• Extensive Routing /Switching, and LAN/WAN experience.
• Experience supporting both classified and unclassified environments.
• Firewall experience (ISE, DNA Center, Zscaler) - AWS or Azure experience.
• CCNP or CCIE certification highly preferred.
• Cisco ACI experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 3 support for design, implementation and deployment of network technologies across Government Customer Enterprise environments.

• Provide classified and unclassified Tier 3 senior level support for the design, implementation, and deployment of network specific technologies across the Government Customer Enterprise environment consisting of hundreds of locations worldwide

• Provide engineering and operational support for cloud providers to include AWS and Azure, on-premise datacenters, campus networks, Dynamic Multipoint Virtual Private Networks (DMVPN), Layer 2/3, wireless networks, network applications installed on client workstations, optimization of various LAN and WAN environments, datacenter load balancing, network access security to include 802.1x and Cisco ISE

• Provide SME level support for Cisco ACI, Cisco NDO, Cisco APIC, Cisco UCS, virtualization (VMWare), and UCS Director
