RTX is seeking a Windows Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support a large-scale enterprise network in McKinney, TX. The role focuses on Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange, and related services, with an emphasis on security, reliability, and 24x7 operations.

Applicants must hold an active Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship. Collaboration across Digital Technology and program teams is essential, with occasional extended hours and up to 10% travel.

Competenze

• Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advance Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.
• Experience with Windows Server administration (Active Directory, Exchange, DNS, DHCP).

• As a Windows Subject Matter Expert (SME), you will possess in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Windows environments, with extensive experience in designing, implementing, troubleshooting, and maintaining Windows Server, Desktop, and Virtual OSs on a large-scale enterprise network whose systems are operational 24x7x365.
• You will have a deep understanding and proficiency of Windows 10/11, Windows Server 2019/2022, Domain Controllers, Active Directory Domain Services, Group Policy and integrated services leveraging best practices of Windows platforms and products.
• Play a crucial role in building, hardening, and sustaining the reliability and security of the Windows-based server and desktop infrastructures and virtual environments.
• Collaborate and partner across Digital Technology and program(s), to deliver cost effective software and hardware solutions that meet current and future needs while following industry best practices.
• Integrate and partner with customer(s), engineers, storage architects, system administrators, network engineering, tools and high-performance computing teams to solve complex infrastructure problems.
• Ensure compliance with security requirements (DFARS, RMF, NIST Cybersecurity Frameworks).
• Support occasional efforts (planned and unplanned) that may require work beyond and outside standard work hours.
• Potential for up to 10% travel
