Job summary

INflow Federal is building a GitLab Professional Services practice to deliver enterprise-grade GitLab solutions for federal customers.

As a Senior GitLab DevSecOps Engineer, you will deploy, secure, and optimize GitLab environments, guide migrations, and design CI/CD pipelines across DoD and Intelligence Community programs.

The role is customer-facing, cleared, and requires working within defined SOWs to deliver high-impact outcomes with governance and security in mind.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on DevOps or platform engineering experience.
• Hands-on GitLab administration in production environments.
• Experience designing and running enterprise-scale CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong consultation and communication skills for customer meetings.
• willingness to travel to customer sites for workshops and deployments.

Responsibilities

• Administer GitLab Self-Managed and Dedicated environments: install, upgrade, backup and restore, user and group management, runners, Geo replication, and performance tuning
• Lead migrations into GitLab from GitHub, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or SVN; deploy reference architectures
• Design and optimize CI/CD pipelines with security scanning and compliance integration
• Roll out GitLab Duo Agent Platform and AI-assisted workflows; advise on governance
• Deliver advisory and knowledge transfer to agency teams; lead workshops and secure deployments
• Operate against defined SOWs and manage customer relationships; scope and ship work on schedule
