Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is hiring a Production Controller 2 to join the SDS division, with siting options in Roy, UT or Ogden, UT. The role focuses on tooling control, material flow, and production readiness within a tight schedule, coordinating with IPTs and program leadership.

The ideal candidate has DoD security clearance experience, strong documentation, and familiarity with MES/SAP/MRP systems to support shipping dates and program milestones.

Competenze

• Must have strong coordination and communication skills to support production schedules.
• Experience interpreting production schedules and identifying impacts and constraints.
• Background in tooling control, logistics, or supply chain in technical environments.

Mansioni

• Coordinate end-to-end tooling organization and material flow in support of production schedules and milestones.
• Maintain visibility of tooling assets (location, status, readiness) and ensure timely kitting, issuance, and return of tools.
• Expedite flow of materials, parts, and assemblies within or between departments according to schedules.
• Support readiness for major production events by ensuring tools and materials are available.
• Drive coordination with IPTs and production stakeholders to review upcoming needs and confirm readiness.
• Estimate and log production rate and lead times to meet shipping dates.
• Track key metrics and recommend process improvements.
• Ensure effective use of MES, SAP, and MRP/inventory tools for tooling and material tracking.
