Job summary

Technica LLC at DLA Tobyhanna, PA seeks a Warehouse Specialist on the 1st shift to support government distribution operations. You will perform warehousing duties, verify materials, route and store items, and operate material handling equipment.

The role requires ability to obtain a Secret Clearance, lift up to 50 lbs, and stand or walk for extended periods; travel to other DLA sites may be required. First shift, contingent on contract award.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance and a CAC
• One year of experience with supply management operation systems
• Prior knowledge of Standard Operating Procedures and Safety Procedures

Responsibilities

• Perform warehousing duties per the storage plan
• Verify materials against receiving documents; report discrepancies and damages
• Route materials to prescribed storage locations
• Store, stack or palletize materials per storage methods
• Rearrange and take inventory of stored materials
• Examine stored materials and report deterioration or damage
• Remove material from storage and prepare it for shipment
• May operate hand or power trucks (MHE)
• May travel to other DLA work sites
