Job summary

Koniag Data Solutions, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Full Stack Software Developer with a Secret clearance to support government customers at Fort McNair, DC. The role is hybrid and involves modern web development, cloud-native services, and secure DoD environment collaboration.

You will design, develop, test, and deploy full‑stack applications, build APIs with Python, and work with PostgreSQL on AWS (EC2/S3/Lambda) while following CI/CD and DevSecOps practices.

Qualifications

• Active Secret Security Clearance
• 2–4 years of professional software development experience
• Strong proficiency in React for modern web apps
• Experience building backend services with Python
• Experience designing/consuming RESTful APIs
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, and Agile development
• Experience with PostgreSQL or relational databases
• Working knowledge of AWS EC2/S3/Lambda and cloud deployment principles

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain full‑stack web applications using modern front‑end and back‑end technologies
• Build and maintain backend services and APIs using Python
• Design, develop, and optimize relational databases using PostgreSQL
• Deploy and support applications in AWS using EC2, S3, Lambda
• Collaborate with architects, developers, and admins to deliver scalable, secure software
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and performance optimization
• Support CI/CD and DevSecOps processes and deployments
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide technical support
• Create and maintain design specifications and operational procedures
• Ensure compliance with government security requirements and coding standards
