We seek a Systems Administrator to implement STIG releases, manage ACAS reports, and remediate vulnerabilities in a VMware environment. A Top Secret SCI eligible clearance and DoD experience are required to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• Education: BS degree; additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• 3+ years of experience with systems administration including DoD accreditation and STIG/SCAP
• Microsoft SCCM package creation and deployment with GPO management
• Windows 10 deployment via SCCM/standalone options and VMware exposure

Responsibilities

• Implement STIG releases across a variety of operating systems and applications
• Tracks and remediates IAVM vulnerabilities
• Manages ACAS vulnerability reports and remediates as required
• Performs software upgrades and firmware upgrades
• Diagnosis and troubleshooting of OS, hardware, network, and related software
• Troubleshoot and harden servers in a virtual environment using Vsphere
• Create scripts to automate tasks and document SOPs for leadership and customers

Responsibilities

• Implement STIG releases across a variety of operating systems and applications
• Tracks and remediates IAVM vulnerabilities
• Manages ACAS vulnerability reports and remediates as required
• Performs software upgrades, patch installs, firmware upgrades
• Diagnosis and troubleshooting of problems related to the OS, hardware, network, and related software
• Daily written and oral communications with coworkers and leadership
• Continual attention to periodic SCAP and STIG requirements is needed to harden the servers
• Troubleshoot and configure servers in a virtual environment using Vsphere
• Create scripts in various shells to automate daily and periodic tasks
• Document work for leadership, update/create Standard Operating Procedures, and brief staff and customers on various task

Requirements

• Education: BS degree; additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
• 3+ years of experience with systems administration:
  • DoD system accreditation process
  • STIG checklist review process to include SCAP scans and implementation
  • Microsoft SCCM package creation and deployment
  • Group Policy Management administration to include policy creation and maintenance
  • Familiarity with Windows 10 including deployment via SCCM / standalone options.
  • Previous exposure with VMware virtual environments
• Certification: CompTIA Security+CE
• Clearance: Top Secret; must be SCI eligible

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $75,000 – 83,000 depending on experience.
