Job summary

You will consult with stakeholders to align data architecture with cybersecurity requirements and governance frameworks. Ideal candidates have hands-on Cribl expertise, strong data-management practices, and familiarity with ASD/M-21-31 or M-26-14 guidance.

Qualifications

• Consultant-level Cribl experience with hands-on implementation and optimization
• Strong understanding of data lineage and data fidelity
• Knowledge of data management and security operations data best practices
• Understanding of ASD/ guidance requirements (ASD, M-21-31, or M-26-14)

Responsibilities

• Support SecOps data and analytics engineering initiatives within complex security environments
• Design, implement, and optimize data pipelines and workflows using Cribl
• Help ensure security data maintains appropriate lineage, fidelity, quality, and integrity throughout its lifecycle
• Apply data management best practices to security operations data and analytics environments
• Work with security telemetry and data sources to improve the availability and usability of information for SecOps teams
• Provide technical expertise and consultative guidance around Cribl and security data architecture
• Support solutions aligned with applicable cybersecurity requirements, frameworks, and government guidance
• Collaborate with technical stakeholders to identify data requirements and develop scalable approaches for managing security operations data
• Help optimize the flow, transformation, routing, and management of security telemetry across the environment
