Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from an accredited university.
• Texas principal or other appropriate Texas certificate.
• Certified Texas Teacher Support and Evaluation System (T-TESS) appraiser.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage assigned areas of instructional program and campus operations.
• Oversee assigned student activities and services.
• Take leadership in planning activities and implementing programs to meet campus goals.
• Develop and maintain campus improvement plans in collaboration with staff, parents, and community.
• Supervise and evaluate professional staff; assist in interview and orientation of new staff.
• Communicate Tarkington ISD’s mission to the community and engage parents.
