Enlightium Academy seeks a motivated and caring Secondary Math Teacher to manage and educate students in a dynamic, asynchronous online environment. You will respond to questions, grade assignments, host group sessions, and create engaging content while reaching out to students needing support via written, phone, or video sessions.

You will follow the curriculum and timeline, foster positive professional relationships with students, parents, peers, and supervisors, and maintain appropriate

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Mathematics, etc.)
• Two years teaching experience preferred, math subjects
• Strong technical proficiency with digital tools and platforms
• Excellent typing speed and accuracy (45+ WPM)
• Proven ability to build rapport with students and parents (in-person/virtual)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong work ethic in a fast-paced online environment

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and caring Secondary Math Teacher to manage and educate students in a dynamic, asynchronous learning, digital environment. This role involves guiding students through their spiritual and academic learning by responding to their questions, grading assignments, hosting group sessions, and creating engaging student‑centered content. You will also proactively reach out to students needing additional support, utilizing written communication, phone calls, and video/screen‑sharing sessions to ensure their success.

Key responsibilities include initiating meaningful dialogue with students, adhering to the established curriculum and timeline, and providing additional teaching materials when necessary. The ideal candidate will foster positive, professional relationships with students, parents, peers, and supervisors while maintaining appropriate boundaries with students.

Salary & Hours

Compensation for this position depends on the candidate’s experience and qualifications, the approximate hourly pay range is $22-$27 per hour .

We are looking for a full‑time individual based in North Carolina.
