Job summary

Tarkett is seeking a forklift operator to support the yarn department by stocking yarn and supplies and by maintaining records. You will operate a lift truck, generate shipping tickets, and perform routine maintenance on equipment.

Qualifications

• Good eyesight, hearing, and motor skills.
• Prior experience driving a lift truck.
• Ability to read tickets.
• Ability to make tickets for yarn.
• Ability to operate wrap station.
• Ability to key data in the terminals.

Responsibilities

• Drive fork and squeeze hysters to perform needed job duties.
• Supply yarn department with yarn and supplies as needed.
• Keep waste records.
• Make shipping tickets. Service hyster by recharging battery and by performing any needed maintenance.
• Any other duties as directed by the supervisor.
