Responsibilities

• Receives, stores, packages and distributes material, tools, equipment, and products.
• Read production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order to determine items to move.
• Convey materials from receiving/production to storage or designated areas.
• Sort materials on racks or shelves according to size, type or product code.
• Assemble customer orders and place them on pallets or to packing/shipping.
• Mark materials with identifying information.
• Record amounts of materials received or distributed.
• Weigh or count items for distribution to ensure conformance to standards.
