Job summary

CTDI is seeking a 2nd Shift Production Supervisor in Indiana to coordinate and assign activities of production workers, ensure targets are met, and drive quality and P&L results. The role supervises operations on the 2nd shift, 3:00PM to 11:30PM, Monday–Friday, with emphasis on meeting KPIs and customer SLAs.

You will lead a team, address production challenges, and provide timely reporting while maintaining safety and policy compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of leadership experience, materials/distribution environment preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with a results focus.
• Detail-oriented and organized, able to multi-task and prioritize.
• Proficient leadership and interpersonal abilities, with clear written and verbal communication.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer use.

Responsibilities

• Supervises workers operating production machinery, assembly, quality checks, or packaging for shipment.
• Assigns daily tasks, supports production challenges, and seeks efficiency improvements.
• Tracks KPIs and reports performance to meet customer expectations.
• Communicates shift transitions clearly to ensure readiness for the next shift.
• Provides first-level support for escalated issues during the shift.
• Maintains production quality by monitoring metrics and compliance with policies.
• Coordinates with management and customers to meet SLAs and resolve issues.
• Assists HR and managers with disciplinary actions when needed.
• Monitors timecard accuracy and resolves entry discrepancies.
• Supports temporary labor compliance and attendance/issues through appropriate channels.
• Fosters a positive, collaborative, respectful work environment.
• Contributes to P&L forecasting and labor planning and scheduling.
• Delivers daily performance feedback and keeps stakeholders informed.
• Ensures availability of supplies and materials to meet demand.
• Provides training and development opportunities to staff.
