Job summary

thyssenkrupp rothe erde is seeking a second‑shift supervisor to efficiently manage the Ring Rolling Mill and production operations in Ohio. The role requires coordinating changeovers, maintaining safety, and ensuring timely reporting for production planning meetings.

The ideal candidate has lean expertise, basic Microsoft Office skills, and 1–2 years in manufacturing. A union environment experience is a plus, with export control considerations noted for this role.

Qualifications

• Must have knowledge of Lean principles and practices.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
• High school diploma or GED and 1-2 years of related experience in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Efficient management of the Ring Rolling Mill and operations on the second shift.
• Summarize daily information and communicate on the board; discuss issues with employees.
• Provide reports for production planning meetings and advise status of orders.
• Ensure production KPIs are met and take corrective actions as needed.
• Review production, assign work, and ensure operators have materials and instructions.
