Job summary
A leading healthcare provider in Omaha, Nebraska is seeking a full-time Oncology Pharmacy Specialist for their Acute Care Oncology Pharmacy Team. This position focuses on optimizing oncology medication regimens, collaborating with care teams, and leading quality initiatives. Ideal candidates will have a Doctor of Pharmacy degree and experience in oncology pharmacy. This role offers a second shift schedule with no weekend accountability, as well as educational support and development opportunities.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an ACPE accredited Doctor of Pharmacy degree program or equivalent.
- Licensed in Nebraska or eligible for licensure.
- BLS certification from an AHA endorsed program.
Responsibilities
- Optimize oncology medication regimens and ensure quality care.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams for patient transitions.
- Lead quality improvement and research initiatives.
- Precept pharmacy students and residents.
