Job summary

Eurofins BioPharma Product Testing North America is seeking a lab technician for the second shift in Lancaster, PA. You will perform analyses on Bio/pharmaceutical ingredients and products, ensuring data quality and regulatory compliance under GMP/GLP guidelines.

You will train with an experienced analyst, prepare reagents and samples, run equipment, and generate reports. Strong attention to accuracy, documentation, and teamwork is essential for success in this full-time role.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and some lab experience/college courses.
• Ability to work in the US without immediate or future sponsorship.
• Microscopes and biological safety cabinets.
• Media preparation.
• Organism/culture preparation.
• Aseptic technique.

Responsibilities

• Applies GMP/GLP in all areas of responsibility, as appropriate
• Applies the highest quality standard in all areas of responsibility
• Demonstrates strong client service skills, communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
• Meets all quality and productivity metrics and demonstrates strong teamwork and collaboration
• Regular attendance and punctuality
• Performs laboratory operations with good dexterity, good laboratory technique, and high degree of accuracy and precision
• Perform/Review preparations of reagents, samples, and standards according to procedures.
• Document testing, observations, deviations, and results clearly and completely, and in compliance with regulatory requirements - striving to minimize errors
• Read and understand analytical procedures (compendial and client supplied) and internal SOP's
• Use MS Windows applications such as Excel, Word, Outlook email
• Process data, generate reports, and evaluate data
• Perform laboratory maintenance and maintain clean workspace
• Commitment to occasional overtime as workload requires
