Job summary

Sandridge Crafted Foods in New Oxford, PA is seeking a Material Handler for the second shift to move, store, and manage materials in a food manufacturing environment. You will operate powered industrial trucks (PIT) in compliance with OSHA standards and food safety policies, performing pre-shift inspections and maintaining clean, organized storage areas.

The role requires following written and verbal instructions, adhering to safety regulations, and forklift operation after training.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Receive, transport, stage, and store raw materials, ingredients, packaging supplies, and finished goods.
Load and unload materials from trucks, racks, conveyors, and production lines using PIT or manual methods.
Ensure proper material rotation (FIFO/FEFO), traceability, and segregation.
Verify quantities, lot numbers, and labeling accuracy during material movement.
Maintain clear aisles, dock areas, and storage locations.
Operate PITs safely and perform pre-shift inspections; report defects.
