Job Title: Second Shift Manufacturing Supervisor
Location: Hendrick Motorsports Technical Solutions – Charlotte, NC
Shift: 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM (30-Minute Lunch)
Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Summary: Hendrick Motorsports Technical Solutions is seeking a dedicated and experienced Second Shift Supervisor to oversee our Laser and Press Brake Operations. This role is responsible for ensuring efficient workflow, maintaining quality standards, and leading a team to meet production goals. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with a strong background in metal fabrication, laser cutting, and press brake operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate second-shift laser cutting and press brake operations.
  • Ensure production schedules are met while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate team members to optimize performance.
  • Monitor machine operation and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
  • Enforce safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Communicate effectively with first-shift supervisors and management regarding workflow, issues, and process improvements.
  • Maintain accurate production records and reports.
  • Assist with setup, programming, and maintenance of laser and press brake machines as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years in metal fabrication, with supervisory experience preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of laser cutting and press brake operations. Experience with programming is a plus.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to manage a team, delegate tasks, and drive productivity.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues and implement solutions efficiently.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to coordinate with employees and management.
  • Work Ethic: Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and committed to meeting deadlines.
  • Preferred: Basic CAD experience.
