Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace Fort Worth is seeking a Logistics Specialist 2 for the second shift to support advanced material handling, inventory coordination, and distribution in a high-velocity manufacturing environment.

You will ensure accurate movement and documentation of materials, adhere to safety and quality standards, and guide the team in daily operations. Prior experience in inventory and familiarity with SAP preferred; valid driver’s license required.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in inventory/logistics.
• Proficiency in inventory systems and Microsoft Office preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Process pick tickets and material requests by pulling, issuing, and transporting parts to support manufacturing, service centers, spare parts sales, backshops and/or distribution centers.
• Operate material handling equipment and company vehicles to move materials between departments and designated locations.
• Unload, inspect, and document freight.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through data entry and use of inventory management systems (i.e. SAP, Corridor, etc.).
• Coordinate material flow to support schedules and customer demands, including AOG and other critical needs.
• Demonstrate safety and quality by following procedures and meeting standards.
• Handle, transport and prepare shipment of Dangerous Goods per DOT, FAA and other standards.
• Maintain brand protection and material handling standards.
• Elevate discrepancies with clear communication and follow-up actions.
• Participate in improvement initiatives.
• Support inventory accuracy goals through regular cycle counts.
• Use handheld scanners for picking, putaway, and cycle count.
