Job summary

PACS is seeking a detail-oriented laundry assistant to support our residents and facility staff. The role involves washing, drying, folding, sorting, and distributing clothing and linens, with attention to accuracy in returning items to residents and maintaining a clean, safe laundry area.

The ideal candidate is dependable, able to work independently or in a team, and comfortable around older adults in a healthcare setting. Training will be provided, and a positive attitude is essential.

Qualifications

• Dependable and punctual.

• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Able to stand, bend, lift, push, and pull as required for the position.
• Comfortable working around older adults in a healthcare setting.
• Previous laundry, housekeeping, or healthcare experience is a plus, but not required.
