Job summary

The Budd Group is seeking a hands-on Janitorial Site Supervisor for the 2nd shift at our Greensboro, NC location. You will lead a small team, supervise cleaning operations, and cover duties when needed to ensure client satisfaction.

Responsibilities include scheduling, training, inspections, safety compliance, and coordinating inventory and equipment. Strong communication skills and a willingness to work alongside staff are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of supervisory/lead experience in commercial cleaning or facilities.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety protocols.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills; bilingual (English/Spanish) is a major plus.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and lift up to 35 lbs regularly.

Responsibilities

• Direct, train, and schedule hourly cleaning staff across assigned facility zones.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure work meets quality standards and contract specs.
• Lead daily team safety huddles and enforce OSHA compliance, PPE use, and chemical safety (SDS).
• Oversee special projects including floor care, carpet extraction, and deep cleaning.
• Track inventory, request supply restocks, and manage equipment maintenance.
• Review/submit timecards and report employee performance or attendance issues to the Account Manager.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for on-site facility personnel and resolve issues quickly.
• Fill in on cleaning shifts during call-outs or staffing shortages.
