Job summary

Graepel in Omaha, NE is seeking a capable manufacturing technician to operate and set hydraulic presses, prepare dies, read blueprints, and contribute to a 0-defect production environment.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent, be able to read direct measurement devices, and work effectively in a team or independently. Second shift from 2:30 pm to 12:30 am is available.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or equivalent and/or related experience required.
• Ability to use Direct read measuring devices required.
• Previous experience in manufacturing; metal fabrication preferred.
• Knowledge in the operation of hydraulic forming presses preferred.
• Ability to read blue prints and understand functionality of parts and their components.
• Ability to work in a team environment and/or independently.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge and hands-on operation of metal fabrication, especially forming with hydraulic presses and welding equipment.
• Setup of hydraulic presses and dies to produce specific Graepel parts.
• Provide maintenance and minor repairs on tools, dies, and machines.
• Setup tool and dies and other production necessities to produce 0 defect parts.
• Work a regular schedule determined by supervisory management.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisory personnel.
