Interstate Assembly Systems in Marshfield, Wisconsin, is hiring Heavy Duty Truck Assemblers and Up-Fitters for the second shift. You will assemble, modify, and customize heavy-duty trucks, wiring, and hydraulic systems, following blueprints and safety standards.

Candidates should have 1–3 years in automotive or heavy equipment assembly, read blueprints, lift up to 75 lbs, and be prepared to work with diagnostics. Benefits accompany the role with growth opportunities.

Formación

• 1-3 years experience in automotive or heavy equipment assembly.
• Proficiency reading blueprints and electrical schematics.
• Ability to lift up to 50-75 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Welding certification, CDL or ASE certifications are a plus but not required.
• Attention to detail and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilidades

• Assemble major components such as cranes, axles, and toolboxes using hand and power tools.
• Up-Fitting: add PTO, hydraulic systems, toolboxes, or custom bodies per specs.
• Install wiring and control systems for lights and sensors.
• Quality control to ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic issues.
• Document parts used and labor time for records.
• Follow safety guidelines and PPE requirements.
• Collaborate with engineers/designers on complex builds.
