Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a Food Clerk for second shift who delivers outstanding customer service while maintaining fresh, well‑displayed departments. You will engage with customers, share product knowledge, and keep departments running smoothly in a fast‑paced environment.

You will stock and rotate items, follow food safety standards, and collaborate across Produce, Deli, Bakery, Meat, Seafood, and Grocery. Prior retail or food service experience helps, but isn’t required.

Qualifications

• Previous retail or food service experience is helpful, but not required.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, twisting, and standing for extended periods.
• Willingness to work second shift and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly customer service and product information.
• Maintain fresh, clean, and visually appealing displays.
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise products to company standards.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures.
• Work across Produce, Deli, Bakery, Meat, Seafood, and Grocery departments.
