Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Hebron, Kentucky is hiring a permanent full-time Material Handler to operate in a safety-first warehouse environment. You will handle beverage products, use state-of-the-art equipment, and participate in accurate picking, packing, receiving, and cycle counting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
• Able to work within a diverse work environment.
• Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Work within contract performance measurement guidelines.
• Ensure accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, and loading/unloading of trucks.
• Handle day-to-day warehouse paperwork (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
• Provide maintenance support for automated packing systems during core shift hours.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
