HomeTown Pharmacy Inc. seeks a Long-Term Care Data Entry Technician for the second shift (2pm–1am).

You will learn through our Pharmacy Technician Program to become licensed in the state, while performing data entry and customer service duties in a fast-paced pharmacy setting. The role emphasizes attention to detail, the ability to multitask, and a professional approach to support quality service and accurate record-keeping.

• Willingness to learn new skills and pursue Pharmacy Technician licensure.

Responsibilities

• Follow Data Entry Department procedures and maintain logs.
• Answer phones, direct calls, and ensure facility communication is documented.
• Develop problem-solving skills and support team goals.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, and Google Docs for data entry tasks.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Second shift: 2pm–1am, 7 days on/7 days off.

As a Pharmacy Data Entry Technician, your typical day would include:

• Know and follow all aspects of the Data Entry Department manual
• Polished customer service skills; answer phones, direct calls, maintain facility communication logs, follow-up on issues
• Have effective problem-solving skills
• Thorough knowledge of Excel, Word, Google Docs
• Do whatever supervisor/managers deem necessary
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Second shift position, 7 days on 7 days off
• Shift is from 2pm - 1am
