Job summary

Advanced Atomization Technologies, LLC is seeking a Machinist - CNC Machine Operator for 2nd shift to setup and operate CNC machines from blueprints and route sheets. The role supports lean initiatives to boost productivity and reduce costs.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent, 1–3 years machining experience, and familiarity with G/M-code and FANUC controls. The position requires reading precision measurement tools and working effectively in a team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, and/or Machinist Certificate preferred.
• 1–3 years related machining experience preferred.
• Knowledge of machine shop mathematics, including trig.
• CNC and/or manual machining experience and tool/work offsets.
• Set-up experience and reading/editing G/M-code; FANUC a plus.
• Ability to use measuring equipment (micrometers, calipers, etc.).
• Demonstrates teamwork and safety compliance.
• Willingness to learn new processes.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and runs production machines.
• Performs machine operations (cutting, deburring, forming, drilling) per plan.
• Performs tapping, spot-facing, chamfering, countersinking to close tolerances.
• Adjusts feeds, speeds, and depth of cut to machine quality parts.
• Performs SPC as required by division.
