Job summary

Edwards Lifesciences in Draper, UT is seeking an Associate Machine Operator to set up, load materials and run a variety of manufacturing equipment for device components and sterilization processes. You will inspect machinery, follow SOPs, and record data to ensure quality and traceability.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to read, comprehend, write, and speak English.
• Previous experience in using similar machinery.
• Good communication skills.
• Work in a Team environment, open to receiving and giving team feedback.
• Basic computer skills, preferred.
• Knowledge of Edwards EH&S and Quality guidelines for clean room medical device manufacturing.
• Must be able to follow detailed operating instructions with minimal supervision.
• Adhere to company rules including pandemic protocols and EH&S rules to prevent injuries and protect environment.

Responsibilities

• Set-up, load materials, and run manufacturing equipment to produce device components or sterilize finished products.
• Perform inspections of machinery and output to ensure conformance with production specifications.
• Follow work instructions and SOPs, record traceable information on device history records or in JDE.
• Select and utilize equipment and tooling for assigned operation/task.
• Ensure automated recording of process parameters for device history records.
• Arrive on time, maintain regular attendance, and work a full shift (8 hours or longer).
• General work area housekeeping.

Shift

Monday-Thursday 3:30pm-2:00am

How you'll make an impact

• Set-up, load materials, and run a variety of manufacturing equipment to produce device components and/or sterilize finished products, including equipment set-up and/or in-process adjustments to ensure appropriate settings and parameters to achieve product design and quality specifications.
• Perform inspections of machinery and output to ensure the processes are being executed in conformance with production specifications, and maintaining a stable and effective process
• Review, follow and perform job functions in compliance with established work instructions and adherence with SOPs, which may include recording traceable information on device history records and/or enter information into JDE.
• Select and utilize the associated equipment and tooling associated with assigned operation/task.
• Ensure automated recording of parameters throughout the process for input into device history record.
• On time arrival to work, regular attendance without excessive absenteeism, and working a full 8 hour or longer work period
• Other incidental duties: General work area housekeeping
