Job summary

API Heat Transfer is seeking an Assembler A for the Second Shift to assemble fabricated components into complete units or sub assemblies according to established drawings and procedures. Tools may include machine and hand tools, with duties such as expanding, rolling and flaring tubes and performing standard testing and flushing.

You will prepare units for shipment, build skids and boxes, and may be asked to spray paint primers or nameplates.

Qualifications

• Assembles fabricated components to make complete units or sub assemblies per drawings and procedures
• Uses machine or hand tools as required
• Performs in a workman-like manner to insure quality parts and continuity of production

Responsibilities

• Assembles fabricated components to make complete units or sub assemblies to drawings, specifications and procedures already established.
• Machine or hand tools may be used.
• Duties include expanding, rolling and flaring tubes and knowledge of standard testing and flushing procedures.
• Prepares units for shipment, makes skids, boxes; and, as required, spray paints standard primers, brush paints, stencils and nameplates.
