Job summary

Second Cook at St. Francis Hospital – A Member of Catholic Health is responsible for preparing meals per menus and dietary requirements to support patient and staff health.

You will assist in daily prep, ensure portioning and food safety, and keep kitchen areas clean and organized. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, at least one year in healthcare or food service, and ServSafe and Food Handler certifications (or obtained within six months).

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 1 year of cooking experience in healthcare, hospitality, or food service.
• Valid ServSafe Certification and Food Handler Certification completed OR must be obtained within 6 months of employment.
• Ability to follow recipes and dietary instructions.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.
