Job summary

Williams International in Pontiac, MI is seeking a Cyber Security DevOps Engineer to build and enforce automated security within CI/CD pipelines. The role bridges software development, IT operations, and Cyber Security to deliver secure software quickly.

This 100% on-site position requires securing cloud/on‑prem infrastructure and implementing zero-trust security practices. The ideal candidate brings 5+ years in infra/DevOps, 3+ years Kubernetes admin in production, and hands-on Terraform,

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Cybersecurity or related field (or equivalent).
5+ years of experience in Infrastructure, Cloud Engineering, DevOps, or Platform Engineering.
3+ years of hands-on Kubernetes administration in production environments.
U.S. citizenship is required and the ability to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain on‑prem/cloud infrastructure. (IaC) using Terraform.
Deploy, configure, and manage Kubernetes clusters in production.
Develop, maintain, and optimize Helm charts for app deployment.
Automate provisioning, deployment, and ops tasks with Python.
Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Argo CD).
Implement security controls per industry best practices.
Perform vulnerability assessments and patch management.
Manage IAM, RBAC, secrets, and certificates.
Integrate cybersecurity tools (Vulnerability scanners, SIEM, etc.).
Set up monitoring/logging/alerting (Grafana, ELK/OpenSearch, Splunk).
Troubleshoot infra, app, and security incidents; collaborate cross-functionally.
Produce technical docs and diagrams.
