Job summary

JPMorganChase seeks an SEC Reporting Associate in New York to prepare and draft key sections of quarterly and annual filings, including Results of Operations and Balance Sheet Analysis. You will coordinate with Controllers, Corporate Finance, and Investor Relations to ensure accurate external disclosures and insightful storytelling of business developments.

The role requires 2+ years in SEC or financial reporting, advanced Excel, and the ability to leverage data analytics to enhance disclosures.

Qualifications

• Typically 2+ years of relevant experience in SEC reporting or financial reporting
• Strong understanding of financial statements (income statement, balance sheet)
• Keen analytical and communication skills with attention to detail
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and large data analysis
• Experience with data analytics and automation to improve reporting
• Willingness to support quarter-end and year-end cycles

Responsibilities

• Prepare and draft portions of the Results of Operations section in Forms 10-Q and 10-K
• Prepare and draft Balance Sheet Analysis sections in Forms 10-Q and 10-K
• Develop analyses and management reporting materials for disclosures
• Maintain schedules in reporting systems (Consolidated Financials/MIS and BPC)
• Support Investor Relations with supplemental analyses and schedules
• Collaborate with Controllers, Corporate Finance, Investor Relations and Accounting Policy
• Identify opportunities to enhance disclosures through analytics and visualization
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field
