Job summary

Southeast ConnectionsLLC, a leader in natural gas infrastructure, is seeking a responsible construction foreman to oversee a field crew on job sites. You will ensure work complies with installation and safety standards and manage field operations focused on safety, efficiency, and cost control.

The role requires coordinating with customers, inspectors, and subcontractors, mentoring crew members, and maintaining documentation and schedules to keep projects on track.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Proficient knowledge of gas installation techniques and standards.
• Preferred: 3 years field foreman experience and valid driver's license with clean record.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and team-oriented skills.
• Ability to read and draft blueprints and as-builts.

Responsibilities

• Manage large projects with 5+ employees on a crew.
• Complete required daily paperwork (timesheets, as-builts, production reports, traceability, pay sheets).
• Train crew members in accordance with safety policies.
• Serve as single point of contact with customers, inspectors, subcontractors and vendors in the field.
• Supervise daily operations per job specs and customer requirements while monitoring site safety.
• Monitor crew progress to keep project schedule and cost estimates on track.
• Ensure all work is compliant with installation standards.

Position Overview:

Oversees a construction crew working on job site, making sure work is compliant with installation and safety standards. Manages the field operations with a focus on safety, compliance, efficiency, cost management and innovation. Manages construction activities to ensure company procedures are followed and compliance is maintained relative to all applicable local, state and federal requirements.

Essential Functions:

• Ability to manage large projects with 5 or more employees on a crew
• Responsible for completing required paperwork on a daily basis including but not limited to: daily timesheets, as-builts or service cards, daily production reports, traceability documentation, and customer pay sheets
• Train crew members in accordance with company safety policies
• Serve as single point of contact with customers, inspectors, subcontractors and vendors performing work in the field
• Supervise the daily operations in accordance with job specifications and customer requirements while continually monitoring site for changing safety conditions and related issues
• Monitor progress of crew to ensure satisfactory job completion, keeping construction progress in line with overall project schedule and cost estimate
• Oversees all work is compliant with installation standards

Qualifications:

EducationPreferred:High school diploma

ExperienceRequired:Proficient knowledge of gas installation techniques and standards

Preferred:Three (3) years of field experience as a foreman, valid driver’s license with cleanDriving record, excellent communications and interpersonal skills, minimum two (2) years of gas-pipeline construction andreplacement experience, strong interpersonal, team-oriented skills.

Special Knowledge/Skills Required:Proficient knowledge of gasinstallation techniques and standards, attention to detail organizationskills, management skills, and the ability to read and draft blueprints (as-builts).
