Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a 13-week assignment in Seattle, WA. The OR RN will prepare the operating room, assist with patient positioning, maintain sterile technique, and support the surgical team throughout perioperative care.

Requirements include one year OR RN experience, valid RN license in Washington, and current BLS; ACLS/PALS or CNOR preferred. Travel benefits include competitive pay, day-one benefits, and 401(k) matching.

Qualifications

• One year of operating room RN experience.
• Current RN license in the state of Washington.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Prepares the operating room with sterile instruments and supplies.
• Assists in patient positioning and perioperative care.
• Maintains sterile field and infection control throughout procedures.
• Anticipates needs of the surgical team and provides instruments and support.
• Monitors patient condition and documents changes during surgery.
• Handles instruments, sterilization, and disposal per protocol.
• Documents all aspects of perioperative patient care.
• Participates in handoffs pre- and post-operatively.
